PORTLAND, ME
Last July I was near Boston working on an Adam Sandler movie and had a Sunday off. I decided to take the opportunity and drive a couple hours up the coast to Portland, Maine. I sure didn’t regret the trip as it instantly became a new favorite place. Its a quaint town with beautiful scenery, fresh saltwater air, pristine coffee shops, and a great selection of breweries. I started the morning with a cappuccino at the Speckled Ax, had a lobster grilled cheese for lunch at the Bite Into Maine food-truck at Allagash Brewing Company, picked up a heavenly chocolate sea salt donut at The Holy Donut and had a fresh lobster roll at Luke’s Lobster on the Portland Pier for dinner. I ended the day watching the sunset at the Portland Head Lighthouse. It was a perfect little one day excursion. Here’s Portland, Maine.
